1. Add 9.75 gm powder to 1.0 liter distilled/purified water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Dispense into test tubes.
4. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
Test Procedure:
1. Inoculate the sterile swabs with suspension of the organisms.
2. Insert the swabs into the upper one third of the medium depth.
3. Then incubate the medium containing the organisms at room temperature for 18-24 hours.
