1. Add 44.00 gm powder to 1.0 liter distilled/purified water and mix thoroughly.
2. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
3. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
4. Cool to 45 - 50°C.
5. Add aseptically 5.0% to 10.0% sterile defibrinated blood.
6. Mix well.
