Composition :


Polymixin B Sulphate

50,000 units/vial.

Directions :


1. Aseptically add 2ml of sterile distilled water to 1 vial.
2. Mix well and aseptically add to sterile cooled media at 45-50°C and pour in petriplates.
i. Add 2 ml (1 vial) of Polymixin B Selective Supplement to 200 ml of Salt Polymixin Broth Base or
ii. Add 2 ml (1 vial) of Polymixin B Selective Supplement to 450 ml of MYP Agar Base or Modified MYP Agar Base.
iii. Add 2 ml (1 vial) of Polymixin B Selective Supplement to 500 ml of Bacillus Cereus Agar Base, KG Agar Base, Salt Polymixin Broth Base or SDS Agar.
