Majority of commercial buffers use Phosphate buffer saline (PBS) and Carbonate buffer which requires 1 hour to overnight incubation to coat proteins / antibodies. Express coating buffer is used for rapid adsorptive immobilization of proteins /enzymes/antibodies on any plastic surfaces including ELISA plates.
