Dissolve contents of Part I in 20 ml of Rehydrating Fluid.

Organisms :
1.Neisseria gonorrhoeae ATCC 19424
2.Neisseria meningitidis ATCC 13090
3.Escherichia coli ATCC 25922
4.Proteus mirabilis ATCC 25933
Directions :
1.Add 42.0 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2.Bring volume to 900.0 ml and mix thoroughly.
3.Gently heat and bring to boiling.
4.Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 15 minutes.
5.Cool to 450-50°C and aseptically add 100 ml of sterile lysed blood,10.0 ml of sterile CNVT inhibitor and 20.0 ml of Vitamin Growth Supplement. Mix well.
Applications :
For the isolation of Neisseria species from specimens containing mixed flora of bacteria and fungi. |
