Organisms :
Clostridium sporogenes ATCC 11437
Clostridium perfringensATCC 13124
Directions :
1. Add 29.00 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2. Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
4. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121�C for 15 minutes.
5.To 25 ml medium add 0.5 ml of filter sterilized solution prepared by
mixing equal volumes of 4% Sodium sulphite and 7% Ferric citrate.
6.To 10 ml or 50 ml Double Strength medium, add 0.4 and 2ml of the
above solution.
Applications :
Used for cultivation of Clostridia from water samples. |
